Petersen is a Sarasota, Florida based portrait artist who studied at the prestigious Art Students League in Manhattan, and at Provincetown, Massachusetts under Henry Henchi. He has received numerous grants, awards, and honors, and is represented by some of the finest galleries in the country. His work hangs in the Pentagon, Fortune 500 corporations, and major universities.
